Importance and distribution in Luxembourg

Drosophila suzukii is a fruit crop pest and can be a serious economic threat to soft summer fruit.

D. suzukii first appeared in Luxembourg in 2014. A large-scale monitoring at the Luxembourg Moselle has been carried out in 2016 in cooperation with the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).
