The Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity has published an emergency plan to manage the spread of the Asian hornet. The aim of the emergency plan is to organise a rapid and coordinated response in order to limit the spread of this invasive species and to protect local biodiversity. To encourage the early removal of Asian hornet nests, the Ministry is introducing financial support for private landowners.
